today we'll be talking about proper

jewelry to wear with an evening gown or

cocktail dress as a designer I'm asked a

lot for the perfect jewelry dresses from

my buyers and the perfect jewelry dress

is basically a solid color gown that's

simple with no embellishment that allows

the customer to wear her beautiful

statement pieces

for example this dress here in navy blue

organza is a very beautiful interesting

gun with no embellishment where you can

add your beautiful statement necklace

which could be a beautiful heirloom

piece such as this we have here with the

sapphire in the pearls and then a

compliment that with your beautiful

statement earrings which are also in the

sapphires and diamonds which were lent

to us today by Ben a moon jewelry spring

is about color and having fun with your

accessories for this I recommend some

bold lucite bangles these are from Vanna

Moon and they look a wonderful with this

dress on a beautiful embroidered evening

gown where there is a lot of detail on

the dress and especially in the neckline

area I always recommend that you wear

only an earring on a dress like this

which was inspired by Downton Abbey I

recommend a period chandelier earring

which beautifully complements the

embroidery on the GAM and on a fully

embellished dress like this that's

beaded and comes all the way up to your

neckline I recommend that you stay away

from earrings and perhaps wear a bangle

or a bracelet in this case a bangle like

this in black enamel with the gold trim
