ideas lookbook 20 because there's around

20 working days in a typical month and I

wanted to give you something different

for every single day and all of these

looks are meant to be very basic simple

go-to outfit ideas that you can

reference at any point in time now as

always everything mentioned in today's

video will be down below in that

description bar so please make sure to

check that out I've also included

timestamps for every single outfit in

case you want to skip around in the

future and I will also be doing a

business casual work from home version

of this lookbook so never fear if this

is a little bit too professional for you

guys I hope you fall in joy please make

sure to subscribe and join the miss

Lilly family before you go and the let's

get started

outfit idea number one the simple mix

and match blazer and trouser combo if

you're like me and don't bought a full

matching suit every single time and your

closet is comprised of a lot of

separates like mine don't worry you can

still have the formality of a pantsuit

but you have the playfulness of the

colors you can mix and match material

experiment with different fit I just

suggest to stick with a core set of

simple colors that mix and match with

each other really well so that you can

maximize the amount of combinations idea

number two very self-explanatory the

loose button-down or blouse with a

pencil skirt ideal for those Harder's

climbers out there you get to loosen it

up on top with your loose fitting blouse

and then you have that pencil skirt

which of course gives you exposure on

the legs versus a restricting pant now

this is a no-brainer like obvious basic

of basics look but you can definitely

show up your personality by utilizing

different patterns different colors and

different sleeve length alpha number

three this is actually a look that I'm

resurrecting from back in the fall that

I got lots of great feedback on so happy

you guys like it because a longline vest

is one of my favorite like unexpected

outerwear pieces so my blank canvas is a

white button-down tucked into some

blacks crops joggers but you can of

course wear any type of black pants that

you want then I layer on the

and it adds warmth to my body without

too much bulk it's not a typical

cardigan or blazer you can see so much

your outfit you can see the peak of your

sleeves and it's just such an easy it

menswear-inspired topper to add a

instant cool factor to your office

outfit ID number four let's talk about

those staple dresses I have three

silhouettes that I always go to the

first time being a short dress I like

this for casual days days I don't want

anything it too tight or form-fitting

and also when I want some more coverage

the second one is a sheath style dress

this is for more professional occasions

I swear by all the ones who've been in a

republic this one is just like that I

feel like when a peltro and Iron Man

exists the last one is something

in-between just a classic wrap dress

this is a universally flattering classic

style that's somewhere in between

feminine and functional so between those

three styles I have all of my needs

covers when I want to wear is standalone

basic dress by itself ID number five oh

one of my favorites you guys know how

much I love like drapey trenchcoat so

I'm bring it into the office take out

your structured blazer or your company

cardigan if you want to switch things up

the trench coats going to give you the

same like dressed up effect but there's

something that's so like effortlessly

cool about it it's got a utilitarian

vibe you also gives you a lot more

visual interest a lot more movement and

a nice option for those of you who are

still experiencing the colder weather

idea number six incorporate some

culottes or some cropped wide leg pants

into your wardrobe I feel like this is

such a subtle way to bring like a

high-fashion street wear type of

silhouette into your basic wardrobe it's

like your typical everyday pant which is

a little bit of edge but obviously you

get way more flexibility and comfort

because of those wide legs I like to

sell mine with a slim same shirt by

itself or layer on different Blazers

just be careful of the proportions these

are a large-volume pants you want to

make sure you look balanced and that

waist is Nick and accentuated so you

don't lose your figure over number 7

y'all seen this so many times on my

channel but a pleated midi skirt is a

great option if you're just sick of

wearing pencil skirt that month it's

definitely a lot more feminine but it's

also very appropriate for spring and

summer or hot climate areas where you

need something that's whisper soon but

also add a professional skirt length and

then to maximize the airiness of the

outfit pair with a loose-fitting

then top so that you can get some

comfort from top to bottom idea number

eight this one's a little bit more

high-fashion but I just wear this

recently to a conference and I so love

this outfit paired my thick white rib

crew neck t-shirt into a pair of

high-waisted stripe crops jogger pants

and this fans are just the star of the

show they help me really express my love

for menswear it's very fitting but it

still looks really cool and badass and

edgy so I really like this one if this

is way too like form-fitting for you or

your dress code no worry you can wear on

a long cardigan a regular blazer or that

long line vest and still get the same

cool menswear effect now switching gears

to outfit idea number nine another great

pan option is a wide leg high-waisted

trousers this is kind of like some

essences of the 1920s thirties or 70s I

think that has such a sweet romantic

almost vintage look to them but you get

that nice knit of the highways was also

again like the coolest you have that

full openness of the pant leg but with

full coverage to the bottom so just to

echo the retro vibe Zoe's getting from

these pants I went with a long neck tie

blouse I do number 10 just so simple and

basic so obviously a classic the

matching blazer and pant suit ideal for

your most professional of days whether

it be an interview a presentation with a

boss or superior I recently reinvented

mine with a more fresher modern look I

like a more cropped pant that exposes an

ankle and also focusing on Blazers that

are really tailored and more slim

fitting so in case you were wondering

the pants are actually from Uniqlo and

the blazers from H&M I mix and match

this one I thought it was pretty good

however back in the day when I was

working in corporate America Banana

Republic Appetit was my go-to for that

formal investment suit that matched

perfectly with each other idea number 11

this one's by far like my flirtiest or

spring inspired outfit I paired a simple

plain tank top you can also swap it out

for a high coverage t-shirt and I talked

it into what looks like a pencil skirt

but with soft ruffles on the bottom then

as a topper I have my drapey trench coat

I love that the flowiness matches well

with the softness of the skirt but the

utilitarian style is a nice

trap to the femininity of the skirt a

cute look fleas really grows out there

if this is way too informal I would swap

out that skirt for a more simple black

or solid color pencil skirt ID number 12

is to go monochromatic or basically same

color on color for those days are still

exception minimalist I just like

smashing together my favorite two pieces

in the same color tone like black gray

and white and I feel instantly put

together very adult very sleek and

modern also another great tip in the

morning like if you're worried about two

different colors like oh do these colors

or patterns match like girl you have to

worry about it and an added bonus is

that this is a nice visual trick for

your shorties out there I'm 5 2 we have

the same color on color you create a

very seamless slimming shape versus two

different colors that creates a

horizontal line kind of visually cutting

you in half

obviously not a major problem or to

prevent me from wearing two different

colors but just a little gem to throw

out there and keep it above your head

off an idea number 13 we got another

classic combo just your basic blazer

along with your pencil skirt my favorite

way to wear this combo is a more laid

back casual style I like playing with

two different colors and then I actually

like be more oversized boyfriend blazer

if you need to formalize this up I will

go with the same color in the Blazer in

the pencil skirt and then also do a more

fitted shorter blazer I drew number 14

is to leverage those favorite sweaters

you have in your closet something that's

more crewneck and lightweight for

everyday use is definitely my favorite

this one gives you the formality and

coverage that's appropriate for our work

office but you can obviously mix and

match these with any of your bottom I've

got solid colors for simpler days or

when I'm pairing it with a pattern

bottom but I also have like a Parisian

girl staple of a classic striped sweater

if I need a sophisticated pattern on my

top ID number 15 is a very common look

that I'm sure all of you have seen in

thousands of different times that places

like express its tearing that button

down or that blouse underneath a v-neck

sweater now I like to play with the

blouse underneath because you can get

two completely different looks even

though the same concept you can do at a

necktie blouse for something that's like

a more feminine and cutesy and then you

could do the closet button-down written

menswear right if you need an idea for

layering and colder climates you can

also pair this combo with any of your

favorite pair of pants trousers or

skirts ID number 16 let's return to the

idea of the dress another idea is to

pair the dress with a more formalized

longer blazer or coat I like whipping

out this trick ever have a dress that's

really comfortable but it might be a

little bit too casual for the office by

pairing a blazer or even opening up my

shirt dress and wearing it as a cool

little topper like I did right here that

kind of elevates the simple dress into

something that's more professional and

more you know dressy for the office so

just an idea is going to leverage the

stuff you already have in your closet

and I have to invest in additional super

fancy dresses I do number 17 is pairing

a simple button-down with full-length

joggers these are the same driver that

you've seen throughout this video but

instead of hiking it up to my shin I

keep them down to a little bit more

tapered drapey pants because they're

high-waisted and I tuck the shirt within

it and makes my legs look extra long and

I can't believe that the loose top with

the drapey material the pants literally

makes me feel like I'm wearing pajamas

but I love totally office ready and I

don't lose my body shape even though

wearing so much billowy fabric I do

eighteen and another super simple any

day like a no-brainer or throw on type

of outfit it's just pairing a loose

shirt with your favorite pair of

trousers I've got several favorites I

got my bow blouse I've got a short

sleeve drapey blouse a half-wave drapey

blouse and then also just a bun down

shirt I've go for this no-brainer combo

for the days I'm a little bit more

self-conscious or might be like on my

period I don't want anything

form-fitting in the legs or the top and

I also don't want anything that's like

restricting around my stomach

so nothing highways did this allows me

to have the comfort of a loose top with

no bulging or pressure on my stomach

when I'm sitting down all day and I know

this looks probably super similar to all

the other stuff I showed you but I think

that's the best part I was just as

fashionable as any other day but those

simple choices is going to be so

impactful in terms of my comfort level

throughout the rest of the day and our

last two outfit ideas oh you guys know

working in an office with high a/c you

got to have your cardigan

ready so my two main cardigan focus

outfits I love is the first one just a

simple sleek seamless top tucked into a

pencil skirt and the reason why I like a

more lightweight topic cuz I don't like

it

bunch underneath the cardigan and making

it kind of uncomfortable and restricting

throughout today I like a really nice

smooth look if possible and then the

second way I could sell this is the same

way but just tucked into either like

some culottes or some crops joggers

obviously you can set a cardigan over

anything but I'm just showing you guys

my Topsy looks I've got long rib styles

I got short sheer styles just mix and

match and just kind of go with the flow

as you wish it looks good on top of your

outfit that day whoo you guys that does

to mention is that I am wearing my

favorite pair of nude pumps which I

would wear every single day to the

office when I do work in corporate

America but please know I made these

looks with the idea that you can easily

swap out heels for flats or loafers just

as easily thank you guys so much again
